Sheridan Le Fanu

7th February 1873, 150 years ago, Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu died. In my view, he is one of the most important authors in the English language. You only have to follow the trail of people he influenced. M.R. James considered him the best ghost stories author. His influence on Bram Stoker's Dracula is undeniable.

I have been working on his writings for most of last year and I intend to continue doing the same this year too. I will be showing you some of it as we go along. 2023 is going to be Sheridan Le Fanu's year!
